The letter in the News-Leader about Ron Day is in my own belief that it is nothing more than a dirty underhanded trick by Richard Naperalski and Chris Fluharty. It is nothing more than an underhanded trick to try to discredit a good candidate. Read it carefully. Notice keywords and phrases like the use of the word, "Right?". If you have ever had conversations with Richard you will know that is a common word/phrase that he uses all the time. Also, some of the other phrases the writer uses in the letter to the News-Leader are used BY RICHARD himself in a slam letter that Richard himself wrote and posted on his own website. If you also look at Richard's website you will see that Chris has a LONG letter of support on there for Richard. So, Chris writing to the News-Leader pretending support of Ron is really an underhanded trick to dishonestly discredit Richard's opponent. Chris has repeatedly shown his support is for Richard not for Ron. Writing that letter to the News-Leader pretending support for Ron was simply a way for Richard and Chris to underhandedly slam a candidate that has way more honor and dignity than he himself could ever hope to have.
When it comes to voting I have never, UNTIL NOW voted Republican. However, due to the dirty tricks and flat out lies from a couple of the Democratic candidates one of whom is Richard, I could never vote for him. My vote will be for the candidate with the most honor and that is Dan Scott.
If candidates have to resort to dirty underhanded tricks and flat out lies to sway votes their way how can we depend on them to be honest and respectable in Jefferson City. Myself, I refuse to vote for or support any candidate that resorts to dirty tricks, as Richard has or to telling untruths about other candidates. If a candidate cannot run on the issues they should not be running. If a candidate has to resort to telling lies about other candidates and pulling underhanded tricks they do NOT deserve anyone's vote! I have heard Richard and Charlie Norr both tell untruths about Dan and frankly that really disappointed me. Now this latest dirty trick I am personally convinced it has Richard's hand all over it. I choose to support a candidate who can run with honor and dignity like Dan. I have never heard Dan say anything bad about anyone either in his campaign or in his personal life. I want a man who campaigns by hard work, honor and respect as opposed to one who campaigns on lies, deceit and dirty tricks.
