This year's race for the 137th seat held by Rep. Wright is going to be interesting to say the least. The GOP battle has the most opposite of matchups. One lives in the district and one claims roots here. One is a blue collar everyday Joe, the other a white collar socialite. One earns your vote door to door, the other hangs out with John Twitty to raise the funds to acquire your vote. With them side by side, one should easily know who to vote for. Right? The problem with the GOP candidates is that that they are not vocal, so their race will obviously be low key.

Ron Day is by far the best choice for the GOP in August. He understands the 137th. He actually lives and works here. He has served as this district's chairman for many years and knows what it is you expect from the representative. He knows meeting you all door to door is the only way to show you he wants your vote and has been doing that for months. Ron Day will continue to work hard and not allow our district to relapse.
