Minutemen

The Minuteman movement has presented itself here in Springfield. But are they telling the whole story about who else has joined their cause?
The Minuteman organization may have attracted people who are truly concerned about border
security. They may even believe we have a
illegal immigrant problem right here in the
city of Springfield. I have to admit I have
seen a few really suspect people building
those new houses that some people can afford
to move into. And I really became concerned
when I saw some people speaking in a language
that sounded like it came from South of the
Border in a local superstore that is well
frequented with people who look like me.
If it sounds like I am hinting at the idea of prejudice in our midst, yes I am. But my reason for doing so is I am concerned in the request of joining up to the ideals of Minutemen, what gets lost is who are they affiliated on the national level. You may say don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. OK...But what if the baby is being wrapped in a blanket with a huge Swastika on it. To be pure you'd have to save the baby (IDEAL) first. To conclude, do your own research. The Minutemen are allowing White Supremacists in and the FBI is not doing background checks. But hey maybe for those who don't care if they stand shoulder to shoulder with a NAZI. At least the information
is out there Springfieldians!
